Wild Mint and Kishk Salad (Méekeh)

Region: Chouf

Ingredients
  1. 1 medium onion
  2. 1 ½ cups (50 g) wild mint
  3. ¼  cup kishk

 

For the dressing

 

  1. ¾  cup olive oil
  2. 1 ½  tsp salt

 

For the garnish

 

  1. ¼  cup chopped tomatoes
  2. ¼  cup kishk

Method of Preparation
  1. Wash the vegetables.
  2. Mix the ingredients in a bowl while gradually adding the dressing.
  3. Sprinkle with the tomatoes and kishk before serving.

Yield 6 servings
