Nour Helou is the youngest member of Slow Food Beirut. She is an Art History student at the American University of Beirut with a minor in Business Administration. Her love for food carried her to France, where she completed a training in pastry, earning a diploma from the Ecole Professionnelle Lenôtre. Nour considers food to be at the core of one’s life, and an important factor which links people together. She is also a firm believer that each country should preserve its culture, primarily the culinary aspect of it, amongst others.
