Jabalna this weekend
It was a special event which took us back to the authenticity of Lebanese villages, the sound of dabke, mouneh from all over especially the Shouf, and all kinds of homemade foods made by small scale producers…
Slow Food Beirut was part of the fair. Barbara Massaad had the task of choosing the best product from each mouneh stand. An important step also was taken which will help us build a relationship with all the producers. They became SFB members, had their photos taken for the website and we got to know them better by filling out a questionnaire to get all their information. Later, we will go and visit each and everyone one of them at home or at their facilities in their villages.
