Biography
Barbara Abdeni Massaad is a talented chef, photographer and storyteller. These passions converge in the creation of award-winning cookbooks Man’oushé: Inside the Street Corner Lebanese Bakery, Mouneh: Preserving Foods for the Lebanese Pantry and Mezze: A Labor of Love) which celebrate the wide variety of food traditions in her native Lebanon. Soup for Syria is her latest book, dedicated to help Syrian refugees. It is published in the USA, UK, the Netherlands and Italy. She also works as a food consultant, developing menus and training local and international chefs in the proper preparation of Lebanese food.
